Foreign Policy is a publication that specializes in Serious essays about all manner of Serious topics in the realm of foreign policy. If you’ve ever touted your professional credentials as a Serious Foreign Policy Thinker, or if you one day aspire to a Senior Fellow sinecure in Serious Foreign Policy Studies — there’s a good chance you’re a subscriber.
Having read your expose, I can only remark that I wish there were more exposes of the “hall monitors” of the world, with an understanding of what they really are: shady and very immoral/a-moral journalists operating and largely getting their cues from the three letter agencies. They work in psyops, not journalism. Those who have convinced themselves what they’re doing is actual journalism are more embarrassing than those who at least know they are dishonest agents.
There should probably be some kind of website or page where all of these fake and ultimately evil (whether witting or unwitting) journalist profiles are available. I’m not proposing anything like their Stasi tactics, but people have a right to know how many of these fake three letter agency “disinformation” experts there are out there. In reality, it’s like 90% fake journalists, careerists, and grifters, most of whom are manipulated or willingly acting on behalf of “Five Eyes” intel agencies.
Honestly, why not push back? Why not put all these people on the defensive? They are the corrupt (and some even truly evil) disinformation agents. They are the hideous slaves of a disgusting fascist intelligence community.
Why not point this and remind people at every turn? They are worse than opportunists. They are worse than just immoral people. Letting them off with these labels belies their deeper function: propagandists and psyop agents for a totally fascist intelligence establishment that operates on behalf of the most evil centres of power in the West.
So I very much like this profile and hope to see many more, and hope that more honest journalists like yourself, Michael, continue to expose these truly hideous creatures.
Something about the bald-faced lies makes them a lot more disgusting than most people who know or even shamelessly commit a crime or do something immoral, but are at least not trying to convince us that it’s true and morale and that they are the saved and enlightened ones doing it for our own good.

The first casualty of war is truth. With all due respect it is shocking to me that at this juncture in history I have more trust and respect for you then “Foreign affairs” and the entire foreign policy “establishment”. Our elites remind me of the famous quote by Talleyrand speaking of the Bourbons, “they had learned nothing and forgotten nothing”. Do they really want a hot war between two nuclear armed nations? Do they forget that a mere 100 years ago Europe sleep walked into a devastating war that slaughtered millions for no discernible reason?? We are truly led by donkeys.
Journalists are sleaze peddlers I love it. Typical of the Canadian broadcasting corporation that they would rely on somebody like Ling, they are a horribly bigoted outfit dedicated to besmirching America and Americans. They have daily stories that could be titled “look how stupid the Americans are”. Ling is a useful idiot, CBC has a political agenda and are overt and repeat liars. Canada is lead by a feckless cabal, don’t let it bother you Michael.

My only real observation: Watching the reactions and media coverage of this war, it's truly breathtaking to me how quickly most of the partisan differences of our 2 political parties have melted away......almost as if they were 2 sides of the same coin.
Actually, Foreign Policy is a very left-wing publication connected to the Washington Post, edited by an Indian who was formerly with CNN. I wouldn't pay the slightest bit of attention to anything they put out.

Lings writings and blurbs bear the hallmarks of Canadian disinformation - missing the most relevant information on the topic, low quality and reprinted by the CBC. PBS and the BBC are both government funded but there is still some arms-length independence. Not so with the CBC - the president of the CBC is appointed and can be fired by the prime minister of Canada, via the Governor General (the Governor General is a ceremonial position, the occupant never objects to the wishes of the prime minister). The CBC will only write stuff that the government approves of, and since most canadian prime ministers only read at a 3rd grade level there is no point hiring an intelligent journalist to write stuff that will just go over their heads (that's where LIng comes in).

(2) McCarthy needs to step aside so "dear leader" can run for speaker (widely rumored). Every day Murica turns more venal and dystopian. Every day. No end in sight yet.
Thank you for spotlighting the Very Serious Journalists of the world. Too often, citizens are left to their own devices in choosing which Serious Journalists to follow.
